Research Changelog
v7.0-deThe 6 most recent editions, newest first. This page and Revisions read the same source, so they cannot disagree; Revisions carries the full history back to v5.0.
Work in progress — in no edition
No dissertation prose has changed since v7.0-de was cut on April 3, 2026. Three research streams have been written since, and none of them is in any edition. Two of them — rev-v7.1 and accordivity-v8.0 — are mutually incompatible rewrite plans for the same eleven Essay 3 files, and the choice between them has not been made. The wider question is open too: monograph, three-essay dissertation, or Accordivity extracted as a standalone paper. Until that is settled, v7.0-de is the last shipped artifact, not finished work.
- Essay 3 construct enrichment (v7.1)April 4–5, 2026
research/rev-v7.1/Enriches Essay 3 with the Probabilistic Gap, Cognitary, AINE and Post-Neo Institutional Economics constructs, keeping and deepening the DSR / incomplete-contracting framing. 14 HIGH-priority changes are specified; 12 TikZ diagrams are specified and none is built.
revision brief ready · not implemented - Accordivity as platform ecosystem strategy (v8.0)May 22, 2026
research/accordivity-v8.0/Rewrites the same eleven Essay 3 files as a theory-building multi-case study (Eisenhardt, 1989): seven case clusters and a four-dimension coding matrix (TC/RO/IH/AA). Drops the DSR / incomplete-contracting framing and demotes the GABMS specification to an appendix. Case D2 (Anthropic/Claude) is still coded TBD.
active prototype · not implemented · incompatible with v7.1 - The Reasoning Economy — PEMAK-RJune 11, 2026
research/reasoning-economy/Recasts Brousseau & Pénard’s Knowledge Management pillar as Reasoning, deriving nine trade-offs (TR1–TR9) of which six are new. Verdict: domain-stratified supersession, roughly 14:1 augmentation-to-supersession across 18 incumbents — a new function, not a wholesale replacement. Its brief names two destinations at once, a standalone paper and input to the dissertation general introduction, and does not choose between them.
research package complete · no home chosen
research/INDEX.md is the ledger for all three streams. The edition decision — and with it the choice between v7.1 and v8.0 — is tracked as issue #8 in the project repository. None of the three changes Essay 2’s N=49 census or its published QCA results.

Data model clarification: 109 OpenRouter authors are not 49 FM vendors. Additive only — no QCA result changed.
- methodExplicit FM-vendor definition in §3.2 and in the TypeScript interfaces: trains base weights + releases commercially + deploys via API
- dataSchema: vendors.category (FM/FT/IP/RL/ED) and vendor_qca_mapping.v70_verdict (IN/CANDIDATE/EXCLUDE)
- fix8 phantom slug mappings corrected — z.ai, Moonshotai, Reka, StepFun, Kwai, IBM, ByteDance, Mistral AI; all 49 vendors now join to the models table
- methodOpenRouter's dual role documented: a case in the study (Y=1, T02) and the census instrument (109 authors via the Wayback archive)
- newInfrastructure: audit_vendors.py (HuggingFace verification) and scripts/verify_v70_consistency.sh, which now gates CI
- dataObservation window deliberately unchanged at Q1 2026 — v7.0 clarifies the data model, it does not re-date the census
- buildArchived as revisions/rev-v7.0/jxu-mom-20260330-v7.0-ae.pdf — 27 pages
